Now ... there's a tale behind these petals.
They were ordered as 'rose' petals - but were (although indisputably genuine petals) of dubious quality & origin ... &, surprise, surprise, the supplier promptly disappeared into the ether.
Eventually I began to dismantle the seriously scrunched-up, compacted mess - & discovered really delicate, almost gauzy petals: still definitely NOT rose petals, but almost certainly Bougainvillea.
If you've seen these blossoms bursting from the sides of houses on hols in sunnier climes you'll know how dainty these petals can be. And these petals ARE really nice!
Completely natural, freeze-dried, like delicate ivory butterflies - with the odd hint of beige. And completely biodegradable (though please do check with your venue as not everywhere will accept even natural confetti strewn around).
Look gorgeous mixed with table gems (see pic above - not included with petals but available in table gems section) or with coloured rose petals (as here with burgundy rose).
